I'm Moving into S3 next phase of learning

You will be moving to your S3 next phase of learning from Monday 27th April. Here is what you need to know...

Please view your new weekly S3 online schedule by downloading a copy opposite.

The summary overview outlining the key points of our online schedule can be downloaded opposite, has been emailed to every pupil's email address and can be found on our school twitter page.

Main points to note:

• Each day (Mon -Thursday) commences at 9am with a Wellbeing block. Monday at 9am this will be PSE. For Tuesday -Thursday at this time you can do some daily exercise with Joe Wicks or use some of our Home Economics grids. The links for these options can be seen opposite.

• You are then scheduled for 3 double period blocks of learning per day. Please download your new online weekly schedule here: New S3 timetable (with codes) v2 (Word doc, 34 KB)(opens new window) or via the link opposite. These blocks of time cover all of your curricular areas over the working week.

• To access your core subject/Curricular Area Teams for each block of learning please log into Microsoft TEAMS and then key in the Team Code which you can see on your new S3 online weekly schedule. Remember these TEAMS go live on Monday 27th April.

You will have made subject choices for some of your curricular areas. You will receive an email TEAMS invite from your chosen Course Choice subject teachers over the next few days. Log on to this TEAM during your timetabled period for that curricular area.  If you have questions regarding the choice invites you have been sent please email john.fleming@westlothian.org.uk and ask your question but also leave a phone number as it may be easier to phone you back rather than email.

• You will be expected to upload work every week. You can see a weekly overview of work to be covered via the link opposite.

• If you have any questions about this online schedule please contact John Fleming DHT at john.fleming@westlothian.org.uk

• If you have a subject query please speak to your teacher or PT/C. PT/C email addresses can be accessed opposite.
