Education reforms
23 January

As you may be aware there are a number of education reforms being proposed by Scottish Government. These include the following:
- Introduction of a HT Charter
- Strengthening Parental and Community Engagement
- Strengthening Pupil Participation (including publication of a HGIOS for pupils)
- Introduction of Regional improvement Collaboratives (West Lothian will link with Falkirk, Clackmannan and Stirling)
- Education Workforce for Scotland (to replace GTCS)
Obviously a lot of reading, however this Education reforms (opens new window) link may make it a little easier for you to get a handle on the key themes and how you can respond.
