I'm Moving into S4 next phase of learning

The summary overview outlining the key points of our online schedule can be downloaded opposite, has been emailed to every pupil's email address and can be found on our school twitter page.

To maximise success at a range of levels, pupils will have the opportunity to change courses and levels in August. Therefore, at this stage all course choice invites are provisional and are open to change once we return to school.

Once you have your subject email TEAMS invites from your subject areas, you need to plan your new Senior Phase weekly schedule by checking and then informing us when you will study each subject choice. How to do this and what to do next is set out below.

Main points and next steps

• You have 3 double period blocks of learning per day. There is an expectation you will both engage and submit work on a weekly basis for each subject.

• Each of your subject choices have 2 lesson blocks during the week. Each lesson block is the equivalent of a double period. First of all you need to work out which subject comes in each column. To do this click this Column Choice grid (opens new window)or download the column choice sheet opposite. Once you know this  you can see which subject comes in what learning block using the table guide at bottom of this download. You do not need to add in your National English course as this comes at the same time for everyone; See upcoming bullet point about this.

• Once you have done this, click on the following link and complete this online form. This will be used to ensure we know what you are doing during each lesson block: Submission Form for your online choices (opens new window) This form should be completed by end of day Thursday 23rd April and will be checked to ensure every pupil has completed it. 

• Block Lesson 2 Mon to Thurs will be the same for everyone in S4; Monday & Wednesday will be English. Tuesday will be Wellbeing (PSE/RME) and Thursday will be 'core PE at home'.
